🧮♾️ At axalitaoba school, a diagnostic math assessment was conducted for students from grades 2 through 6, initiated by the Primary Level External Observation Coordinator, Dachi Nanobashvili.
👨🏫 The test questions, selected by Mr. Nanobashvili himself, focused on key topics from the previous academic year. “As you know, mathematics is a chain — it’s essential to check how well students remember the foundational concepts they learned last year. Some may have forgotten certain topics, which isn’t alarming, but teachers need to be aware so they can respond in time. I will personally review the papers and provide feedback to teachers, who will use it to guide their work with students throughout the semester,” he noted.
🎯 Based on the results of the first diagnostic test, Mr. Nanobashvili will prepare individualized assessments for each student at the end of the semester. If the initial mistakes are minor or mechanical, the second test will include more text-based problems to evaluate students’ reading comprehension and problem-solving skills.
👇🏻 During the semester’s final Open House, teachers will share with parents what gaps were identified, what progress was made, and what still needs improvement.
